G. Willy Davila, MD, has spent his professional career as an academic Urogynecologist; as a clinician, teacher, researcher and thought leader. He is most proud of his many surgical contributions to the well-being and quality of life of women with Pelvic Floor problems in US and around the world.

He is currently Director of Women and Children’s Services at Holy Cross Health and directs the Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Health at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

His clinical experience includes Chairman, Dept. of Gynecology at Cleveland Clinic Florida (1999-2017), Asst. Professor of OBGYN at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (1989-1992) and Director of the Gynecology and Continence Center (1992-1999) in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Davila has given nearly 500 invited professional presentations and has published more than 250 book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has co-authored 6 textbooks including Pelvic Floor Dysfunction: A Multidisciplinary Approach and Practical Guide to Female Pelvic Medicine. Dr. Davila has trained many US and international clinical fellows – many of whom are now in academic positions at leading institutions around the world.
