Shanzhi Chen, professor-level senior engineer/PhD supervisor, IEEE Fellow, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, expert with a special government allowance, and a national candidate of the "New Century Talent Project". He currently serves as Vice President , Chief Engineer, and Director of the Science and Technology Committee of China Information and Communication Technology Group Corporation, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Wireless Mobile Communications, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Mobile Communications and Internet of Vehicles, and Non-Executive Director of SMIC.
