Zhongde Shan currently serves as a member and deputy minister of the Party Group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Party Committee Secretary of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the director of the National Key Laboratory of Aerospace Structural Mechanics and Control. He also holds positions as the deputy director and group leader of the Basic Process and Equipment Group of the National Industrial Base Expert Committee, the deputy director of the National Expert Committee on Intelligent Manufacturing, the vice president of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and the vice president of the Chinese Society of Astronautics.
