TianHuaiyu is Martin Fellow at the University of Oxfordand Distinguished Professor of ChangJiang Scholars Program. Heis known for his work on the infectious disease modelling andreceived National Innovation Pioneer Award & China YouthScienceandTechnology Award. He currentlyservesastheDirector of the Global Change and Public Health Research CenteratBeijingNormalUniversity,expertoftheWorldHealthOrganization, and data analysis specialist at the Beijing Centerfor Disease Prevention and Control. His research achievements have been used for predicting and evaluating the effects of majorepidemics and intervention measures in China, as well as forensuring the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.One of his representative achievements has been included as afull chapter in the American Association for the Advancement ofScience's K12 textbook "Science in the Classroom".
