Prof. Dr. José Vieira is a civil engineer with extensive experiencein engineering education, research and management. He is FullProfessor at University of Minho, Portugal.Prof. Dr. José Vieira was President of the European Federation ofNational Engineering Associations (FEANI) from 2014 to 2020.Prof. Dr. José Vieira was the National Vice President of thePortuguese Association of Engineers from 2010 to 2016. He hasbeen involved in WFEO activities since 2015 as a member of theExecutive Council and chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.HewaselectedPresident-ElectofWFEOattheGeneralAssembly in Melbourne in November 2019 and became Presidentof WFEO at the General Assembly in San José, Costa Rica in March 2022.
